Food Pantry

First Fruit Ministries is proud to operate the oldest and largest food pantry in New Hanover County, serving over 2,000 households every week.

What makes our pantry special is that there are no limits on how often our neighbors can visit — whether someone needs help once a month or three times a week, our doors are open. We’re committed to offering more than just the basics. Alongside nonperishable staples, our guests can choose from a wide variety of fresh produce, dairy, deli items, desserts, and other essentials to nourish both body and spirit.

Pantry hours

Our food pantry is open to all, with no requirements. Please come as you are.

Monday: 10AM - 12PM

Wednesday: 10AM - 12PM

Saturday: 10AM - 1PM

Mondays are geared towards families and caregivers, with essential infant items available.

How it works

1

Park anywhere in the FFM lot. If you cannot exit the vehicle, park in a handicap spot and put on your hazards to request assistance.

2

Come to the pantry door. Before hours or during break, form an orderly line to the right of the door.

3

A volunteer will guide you to the waiting room and through the registration process.

4

Your name will be called and our volunteers will assist you in your shopping experience!
