Through our food pantry and street outreach programs, we provided fresh food boxes and hot meals for homeless and food insecure neighbors. Your support made it possible to serve the most vulnerable among us. Together, we are making a difference!
WayMAker Luncheon: Human Trafficking Trends Panel
First Fruit Ministries, Wilmington's largest and oldest nonprofit dedicated to helping human trafficking victims, has been working tirelessly to provide housing and support to survivors.
Wilmington, NC, Jan. 10, 2023 First Fruit Ministries, Wilmington’s largest and oldest organization serving homeless and trafficked individuals, is holding a Celebration Benefit on January 19 in honor of the non-profit’s 25th anniversary. This night of storytelling will showcase real stories of hope, growth, tragedy, and encounters that transform the lives of people living on the streets.

We celebrated the commitment of WayMakers at First Fruit Ministries with our recent Campus Crawl Dinner and Open House. WayMakers dedicate their time, talents, and treasures to serve those experiencing hunger, homelessness, or human trafficking.
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — First Fruit Ministries has received $4,277 from the Feeding Families fundraiser from members of the Produce Box. First Fruit Ministries says they will use the gift to distribute fresh produce boxes from local farms to low- and no-income individuals.
It’s those who are dispossessed the homeless, victims of sex trafficking, commercial sex workers, those with addictions who make up LEE ANNA STOKER’s crew. Stoker, who is the co-founder and executive director of First Fruit Ministries, reaches out to these individuals and provides resources to help them regain their lives.
